CRC's Board Development Guided Skill Track is a four-part learning journey designed to meet nonprofit leaders wherever they are and equip them for wherever they need to go. We start with 4 dynamic workshops:

  • Board Development 101 builds the governance literacy every board member and executive director needs.
  • Engaging Your Board in Fundraising tackles one of the most common challenges in nonprofit leadership: getting your entire team aligned, confident, and actively contributing to the resources your mission depends on. 
  • Cultivating Effective & Committed Boards takes that foundation further into the intentional work of building a board that is strategically composed, deeply engaged, and equipped to lead for the long term. 
  • Leading Boards Through Change brings it all together in the moments that matter most: when your organization is facing a leadership transition, a financial crisis, a structural decision, or the kind of conflict that tests relationships and resolve.  

Then pair trainings with other key components:

CRC builds custom contracts for local, regional or statewide organizations that include education, coaching and convenings. In addition, CRC’s board training videos can be utilized for a specific event, such as an annual board retreat. The training can be paired along with a CRC coach to facilitate the event or answer specific questions depending on an organization’s needs.
