This training moves beyond foundational governance concepts and explores how organizations can intentionally cultivate boards that are aligned with their mission\, responsive to their current season\, and equipped to support long-term organizational success. \nBy the end of this training\, participants will learn ways to: \n\nAssess whether their current board composition aligns with their organization’s present and future needs.\nIdentify gaps in skills\, expertise\, lived experience\, relationships\, and leadership capacity.\nStrengthen recruitment and onboarding practices to build a more engaged board culture.\nImplement strategies that foster trust\, accountability\, and meaningful participation among board members.\nDevelop a framework for cultivating future board leaders and sustaining long-term board effectiveness.\n\nTo encourage board and staff participation from an organization\, each ticket allows all members of an organization (board members and staff) to watch the Zoom event together for one price.
